Royal Mail

Many of our customers use first class post for delivery. While we hope your package will arrive the next day this is not at all guaranteed: Royal Mail say first class post should reach 95% of UK destinations by the next day, but we all know this isn’t so. We assume first class post will take 1-3 days, but some items do go ‘missing’ in the post and never arrive at all. Naturally we will send another item if yours does not arrive, but we must allow at least 10 days for the original to get through before sending another.

If it is important that your item definitely arrives when you need it, we suggest you do not rely on 1st class post but use DPD instead.

Second class post is used for free shipping and may take 2-4 days, possibly longer.

DPD are generally very good and reliable; delivery is at any time during the working day in a one-hour slot shown on their website.

You can nominate an alternative address or request a different day on the website.

Sometimes it is not possible for us to despatch for next day delivery; you should always be informed on the website or by email that the next day delivery has been temporarily suspended. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but Inquit Publishing Ltd. will not be liable for any loss, consequential loss, or other loss or damage that any such delay in despatch or delivery may cause.
